Central Florida Sports Commission
The Central Florida Sports Commission is a private, non-profit organization that plays a vital role in attracting international, national and regional sporting events, activities and sports-related business to Central Florida. The Sports Commission’s regional partners include Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake and Volusia Counties, as well as the City of Orlando, and private corporations that view sports-related events and activities as a means to building a better community. The Sports Commission continues to serve as a consensus builder and clearinghouse among local governments, sports entities and sports facility owners. Its mission is to create a partnership of success by diversifying the economic base using sports as a vehicle and providing outstanding entertainment and participatory opportunities for Central Florida residents. Hosting such events as World Cup Soccer, NCAA DI Basketball, the NCAA DII National Championships Festival, the NBC Sports Dew Tour and WrestleMania, bring not only significant economic impact and exposure to the region, but contribute significantly to the community’s quality of life.

Orange County

Osceola County
Osceola County’s reputation as a national and international sports destination is spreading: It’s no longer just about families visiting the major theme parks. Osceola also has developed an impressive focus on sports, including youth sports, as part of a drive to become the ultimate sports destination. The county is home to many prestigious championship golf courses, including Ginn Reunion Resort ChampionsGate, Mystic Dunes, Celebration Golf Club and Falcon’s Fire Golf Club. Additionally, Osceola County’s 96,708 acres of public access lakes and over 130 acres of park facilities speak to every kind of sports traveler, with special emphasis on soccer, baseball, softball and fishing enthusiasts. While theme parks remain the main draw for visitors, other attractions add a distinctive local appeal. Old Town and Boggy Creek Airboat Rides, to cite just two, deliver different and varied experiences that complement the big theme parks.
Seminole County
Just minutes north of Orlando, Seminole County, secluded by surrounding natural beauty, is Florida's Natural Choice for sports. Lake County
It does not take long for the impression to hit home once reaching picturesque Lake County, Florida. Volusia County
Centered in a fast growing industrial triangle, Volusia County is located just 25 miles northeast of Orlando, 60 miles north of the Kennedy Space Center and 84 miles south of Jacksonville. Its east central location places Volusia County at the busy intersection of Florida’s two major interstate highways, I-95 and I-4. Volusia County features over 47 miles of beaches centered on Daytona Beach, the “World’s Most Famous Beach.” The area’s many lakes and rivers offer every type of water sport. Volusia County also features many sports complexes, great golf courses and more than 13,000 hotel rooms. Not only does this community host some of the largest special events in the world, but Daytona Beach is also home to the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), the National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) and the Florida Section of the United States Tennis Association.
